Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is a game we've wanted to talk about for a looooong time and this week we finally made it happen! Our friend Vito, @8bitbarrister on Instagram, joins us once again to experience Super Mario Land 2 all over again. This gem of a GameBoy game was originally released in 1992 and it took Mario in a drastically different direction than the NES games. We talk about how Nintendo R&D1 wanted to make this the most unique Mario game ever by taking advantage of everything the GameBoy hardware offered.
