Well the winter season is upon us with all that bloody snow over the weekend but enough talk about winter ,i'v been reading a book about B B King titled King Of The Blues (The Rise And Reign Of B B King ) .Any self respecting Musician would know about B B King great Blues Guitarist and one hell of a singing voice. He grew up hard and tough in Mississippi ,he married his first wife when he was eighteen ,nighteen years old ,his wife back then was only fourteen for christ sakes, but also the book mentions his influences . Guys like Charlie Christian who was more Jazz than Blues and also other guys like Robert Johnson and Charlie Patton who came out of the Mississippi Delta .My point is that these guys died pretty young. Charlie Christian for starters he died age 25 from tuberculosis thats practically a kid . It also mentions blues singers like Ma Rainey & Bessie Smith . These artist not only performed the Blues as an art form but they lived the Blues it was a way of life .Its a really good book i'm about halfway through. So while we're still on the subject of Music.
