I'v been medicated up to the gills these past few weeks so i was'nt myself most of the time ,very powerful meds. Spent most of the time watching the world cup .I could'nt even practice i was so medicated up .All i have to do now is get my right shoe on my foot .At the moment its tight and uncomfortable so i have to wait a few days . Hopefully it will be cleared up before the weekend when me and the wife will be going to a Summer Drum Solstice  where i'll be able to display my Drumming skills.I also want to mention and give a shout out to all the very kind folks that sent me birthday wishes over the weekend. Hey hows it going music lovers & musicians. And welcome to another one of my music Podcasts Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Production Podcast. Before i carry on the laugauage might get a bit fruity up in here but thats soley just because of the week i'v been having .For the past week i'v had this condition called gout . Its been a real pain in the ass because it just hit me out of the blue all of the sudden last sunday morning .The day before i was fine but then the next day i could hardly walk .I figured i could sleep it off over night but  the next day  it got worse .So i figured  i'd drive to the hospital but i could'nt even get out the front door  ,so the wife called an ambulance .Now i have a healthy fear of hospitals and thats soley due to the fact of my past stays when i had prostate cancer 3 years ago and 2 blood transfusions 2years ago. I'm very grateful for the doctors and nurses for saving my ass back then ,but  i was'nt looking forward towards another visit . After being poked with various needles to get blood out of me for a blood sample ( i tell you its hard getting blood out of me boy)  The doctors gave me these meds to take for a couple of weeks .I can tell you that i was in a pretty pissed of mood for the past week not just for the fact that i could hardly walk but for the fact that it just came out of nowhere. Hello and welcome back to this weeks Podcast of Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions. Well ! finally getting some decent weather for a change .Starting to get hot out. The only thing is that i have to watch myself health wise. Last summer in July i was playing a gig with my then band R&B Fusion Collective ,it was an outdoor gig and it was very hot .The heat sapped most of my strength ,i barely had the strength to play and this was a 4 hour set .I thought i had heat stroke because i was weak for the whole of the gig .I could'nt even move my gear to the car afterwards . This was a complete shock to me because i'm a natural sun person and i usually love the sunshine .I guess i just have to put this down to getting older which sucks by the way .I was even getting light headed when i drove across town yesterday. But on a different note still working on the film project using the AI technology . Hello and hows everybody doing .Fine i hope what with all the turmoil thats going on in the world right now. Well i'm back with another Podcast featuring more Original Music and Cutting Edge Grooves. I'm still working on the yet to be titled new album . Had to work on some tracks that i had already laid down. The one thing that i have learned when it comes to recording and laying the tracks down is that ones ears are always changing in terms of what you hear in the mix .For instance i layed down a Drum track for one of the Compositions that i was creating this was about 6 weeks ago .Now at the time i thought the Drum track sounded great in the playback ,but when i heard it recently ,i just felt that i had to make some alterations to the Drum sound in the mix . I was hearing some things that needed  some changes ,how the hi hat sounded & the snare in the mix i just had to fix them so that it was more pleasing to the ear in the mix .So when you're recording and tracking ,it might sound good to the ear one week but then you may hear something different some weeks down the line .Musicians/Composers tell me your thoughts on this. Well hows everything going ,Good i hope .Spending most of my time hibernating out of the cold. Staying inside these past couple of weeks .Its been super cold out . Have to take  one of my Keyboards in to be fixed .Something wrong with the connection when i record with it. Hello and how we doing this winters day . Is it bloody cold out or what ? I have an aversion to the cold weather and winter in general. I'm still getting the last effects of winter out of my mind from 2025 last year and that one pretty much sucked as well mainly the cold weather draining the charge from my battery in my car  which i have since had replaced .I'm just hoping that this winter does'nt drag on until March or early spring like the last one.But enough talk about the bloody winter weather and more talk about the music. Working on new music for a new album which is coming along .This album should be out by the summer. Was'nt a bad year for me personally health wise anyways ,i just hope that 2026 will be without any health issues touch wood .But there were some great Musicians that passed away this year ,Anthony Jackson a Brilliant Bassist ,Steve Cropper of Booker T & The MGs ,Booker T Jones is the only surviving member left from the MGs plus,Jimi Cliff who were just a few of them that had left us this year. But on a good note i recently watched The Beatles Anthology on the Disney Channel. It was really good .I have to say that i have a new found respect for Ringo Starr,i was watching those old footage clips of them performing and he was tight ,solid,locking it down .And the dudes still playing in his 80's with his allstar band so i have to give him props. I also just recently watched the latest Spike Lee Joint called "Highest 2 Lowest .I'v been waiting to watch this for a while. I'm a big Spike Lee Fan "Mo Better Blues" being one of my favorites ,but this newest one was pretty good .I have to say that i'm not a fan of Rappers or Rap ,so the Rapper portrayed in this movie even though it was acting he did rub me the wrong way with his language and his all out ignorance when he opened his mouth. Well the winter season is upon us with all that bloody snow over the weekend but enough talk about winter ,i'v been reading a book about B B King titled King Of The Blues (The Rise And Reign Of B B King ) .Any self respecting Musician would know about B B King great Blues Guitarist and one hell of a singing voice. He grew up hard and tough in Mississippi ,he married his first wife when he was eighteen ,nighteen years old ,his wife back then was only fourteen for christ sakes, but also the book mentions his influences . Guys like Charlie Christian who was more Jazz than Blues and also other guys like Robert Johnson and Charlie Patton who came out of the Mississippi Delta .My point is that these guys died pretty young. Charlie Christian for starters he died age 25 from tuberculosis thats practically a kid . It also mentions blues singers like Ma Rainey & Bessie Smith . These artist not only performed the Blues as an art form but they lived the Blues it was a way of life .Its a really good book i'm about halfway through. So while we're still on the subject of Music.
