Episode 399: Outside The Window

Today I rewrote my monologue from the 21-day challenge, but this time to my 6-year-old self. I pictured watching her through the living room window watching her as she is terrified, confused, hiding behind Grandma and told her she grows up to be strong, smart, and loved. It was healing, even though it made me cry. I also realized I don’t have to live life on anyone else’s schedule, and that some days doing less makes space for breakthroughs. Better to type through tears than not write at all.
