Meet Gerry Leisman, M.D., Ph.D. haling from Israel. Dr. Leisman's primary interests have been about the intersection of topics related to movement and consciousness with particular attention on the population of pediatrics and development through the lifespan. Dr. Leisman shares some stories of interest about his early studies in music and how music has influenced his understanding of the nervous system as well as ways that science can shed light on the success stories from healing arts modalities. Dr Leisman has worked in the fields of medicine and science for over 4 decades and has contributed significantly to the body of research knowledge which supports the advancement and understanding of brain science as it applies to improving developmental disabilities particularly among children. He is affiliated with prominent academic organizations on 3 continents and 4 countries. We are grateful and lucky to have the opportunity to speak with him in this interview.
