Episode 402: For The Children w/ guest Victoria "Tori" Algiere - Audio

Co-hosts Marlene McMichael and Kerri Brinkoeter visit with guest Tori Algiere of the Willimason County Children's Advocacy Center (WCCAC). The ladies share how to identify abusive situations. As caring citizens, we all must be adept at recognizing, reporting, and responding to child abuse. The WCCAC is one of 70 Child Advocacy Centers in Texas. These centers offer a one-stop location to a variety of services for the children and families involved. Services include intake reports, forensic interviews, trauma therapy, family needs assessment, sexual assault nurse exams (SANE), and well child exams. Tori also helps listeners know how to recognize the signs of abuse.
