Can there ever be closure after losing a child? The whole world wants us grieving parents to find closure. They are desperate for it. They tell us things like, "It's time to move on." They ask us why we are still "stuck" in our grief years after our child has passed. If this describes your situation, you are not alone. Other people might want us to find closure, but they are not the ones who've lost a child. They aren't the ones picking up the shattered pieces of their own life. You are. Grief is a complicated thing, and maybe we shouldn't be pursuing closure.
