Episode 413: Tropes and Traps

This week’s episode we take another look at the film “Wicked: Part One” as it celebrates finally having made more money than “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” at the box office. As a bonus now that both Say Reporters have experienced Jon M. Chu’s take on the source material we can embark upon a nice deep dive into the film and the fact that only half of the story has been told so far. Next the latest entry into Sony’s Spider-Man Universe or SSMU “Kraven the Hunter” has released and with this seemingly closing the book on the Spider-Man without Spider-Man experiment we look back at the wasted potential the six films represent and how Kraven perfectly represents all of the mistakes made during this time. Finally Devon has a PSA about the latest Power Rangers Beat ‘em Up.
