Episode 43 - Heal Yourself

Are you Different? Odd? Unique? Well welcome to the club, weirdo. Unfortunately sometimes that off-the-beaten-path personality isn’t embraced by the people around you, even by those closest to you...like your very own parents. The people who love you the most often make the poorest choices for your health as a person and it’s your job to figure that out as soon as possible and spend the rest of your life correcting the situation. The good news is, the more fucked up you are the more opportunity there is for that massive overhaul you call the journey of life. This week Coop&Myan host perhaps their most introspective friend. A woman who has overcome parental and societal corral, spanning decades and the globe. Danvy Pham is an artist, a painter, a mother, a woman who says yes to life and lives in the NOW on such a constant basis, she resonates joy and light. If you thought getting out of your parents basement was an undertaking than imagine trying to escape that basement if it were inside your mind. Moving from a life of mandatory scholastic perfection and a career in pharmaceutical sales to Kundalini yoga and an emotional, sexual existence most of us can’t even comprehend, Danvy’s life, even at its very inception, is a storybook saga of Shakespearean heart and form. Unofficial is committed to consistent, original content and a level of expressive freedom bordering on anarchy. For decades Coop&Myan effortlessly unloaded thousands of hours of ideas and creativity onto their family and friends and now they’re offering it to you. Free of charge. As an additional complementary gift, the boys are also offering 15 minutes of fame. And if you sign up right now they’ll quadruple the offer. Send requests to [email protected] and tell us what makes you amazing. See you in the studio...weirdo.
