Episode 44: Nick Ashill (Wellington dude who completed an epic run across USA against all odds)

In August 2017, Nick Ashhill was 81 punishing days into his run from one side of America to the other- LA to NY- doing around 50k every day.He didn’t finish the run though.  He was the victim of what he reckons was a deliberate hit and run accident from some meth head in a pick up truck that left him fighting for his life.16 surgeries and 5 years later, Nick went back to the spot of his accident to finish what he started. This is definitely one for the running nerds.  But I reckon its also just a pretty interesting story about an ordinary kiwi whose done some pretty extraordinary stuff despite some serious big hurdles to overcome. Really hope you guys like this episode.Dom  Hosted on Acast.
