Episode 45: Silver Alert

Hello  This is Survived with Sophie & Lexi! We started telling our Survived story (in college) and are moving on to bring you guys more! Though many different topics This week we will be kinda touch on something new, and a topic that we both personally didn't know too much about until this week, which is the Silver Alert. Similar to an Amber Alert (like we talked about in a previous episode), a Silver alert is an alert system created when there is a missing senior citizen.  What is the criteria for the alert to be triggered in your state? Well the criteria does vary from state to state, but there is a broad list of things that stary consistent: -A silver alert is usually issued to someone who is 60 years of age or older, however in certain cases in the individual is younger (or a child) it might meet the criteria of activating an alert.  - Mental health disorders - a persons cognitive ability is affected in a certain way -Physical health disorders - a persons physical ability is affected in a certain way
