Episode 45: WGC Match Play Says Goodbye

The quest for better golf and qualifying for the Minnesota State Amateur Championship ramped up this week for Tim as he has all kinds of new weapons in the bag after getting fit for new irons and a driver. We will see how they work out as he is also going to Southern California this weekend to play some more top 100 public tracks. The PGA Tour had a first time winner this week at the Valspar as Taylor Moore took home the title as contenders such as Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood faltered down the stretch. This week the top players in the world are headed to one of the Break80 Podcasts favorite events, the WGC Match Play. The match play is bidding farewell to the the Austin Country Club and it sounds like it will not return anywhere in the future.
