It’s not Pride Month yet but in this house, we celebrate gay icons year round. This week we did just that by watching Australian horror film The Babadook (2014). This film navigates so many issues that are not talked about often enough in modern society, such as grief, the hard and sometimes ugly parts of motherhood, single parenthood, and more. This movie is very highly regarded in recent horror cinema, and for many good reasons!
