Episode 52 - Nightmare Alley (2021)

This week the group is running off to the carnival with one of the films nominated for best film, Nightmare Alley, directed by Guillermo del Torro.  A movie that has a number of poor choices from carnival manager Clem's poor money management, Pete's love of the drink, and Stan's mouth writing checks that his body can't cash.   Starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Toni Collette, David Strathairn, Ron Perlman, Mark Povinelli, and returning performances from Willem Dafoe and Holt McCallany. Also in this episode, Corporal gives his reason on why this shouldn't have been up for best picture.
