In this episode, the first of Season 4, we are delighted to welcome back Robert Simonson, a freelance writer who covers cocktails, spirits, bars and bartenders for the New York Times. Robert recently launched his own spirited e-newsletter, “The Mix with Robert Simonson” on Substack. He was our podcast’s very first guest, and it is great to have him back on the show. Robert won the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award for Best Cocktail and Spirits Writer in 2019, and his work has also appeared in Imbibe, VinePair and other top media.
