Episode 54. The Grindr Killer
from Cafecito & Crime · host Estela and Barbara
In 2014 and 2015 four young men were found deceased in Barking, east London, from what appeared to be a drug overdose. According to the families, the four young men were not involved in drugs and wouldn't have overdosed but police, still, deemed their deaths as "non-suspicious." It would take the families taking matters into their own hands and beginning an investigation that would lead to some sort of lead that would point them in the right direction, and also make the police see that there was more to their loved one's deaths. Once the police get a real investigation going, all roads seem to lead to one man, and that was Stephen Port. Join us for today's episode to find out how Stephen was involved in the deaths of these 4 young men, and many other crimes that later come to light, too. So, grab your cafecito, and let's get started. TW: This episode contains talk of rape.
