Episode 55 - International Football is back with the Nations League, England and Gripes
from The Sweeper Podcast · host The Sweeper Podcast
And just like that, international football is back on the menu and it has served up the Nations League. Nobody really knows how it will work, whether it will help anyone or whether or not it is even real! But so far, it seems to be positive, for some at least, perhaps not so much England. We get stuck into all of the fallout and of course some positives too from England's first Nations League game, a defeat to Spain and then the friendly win which followed, where England were victorious (just about) with a 1-0 victory over the Swiss. There's also a catch up on other nations, as well as what's been keeping our hosts busy with the lack of football during the international break, sparking discussions of players and how they are treated, wanting to go home after a day with Pep and Wesley Sneijder just chilling.
