Episode 56: Episode 54 - Pride!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! Welcome to a new episode of 504 Twenty!!!  Join your hosts and stoner buddies Magick Sam and Zekiel Parchment as they have a virtual smoke sesh with you!!! On this week’s extra large episode the lads welcome you all to Pride Month! Replete with hoochie daddy shorts! The lads ponder where that term came from, and make sure to distinguish them from Daisy Dukes. They also mention the big Naked Bike Ride and both lament the heat of summer coming on a little too strong. They remind us all there’s a lot of ways to be an ally even if it’s too hot out to go to a parade, and note that actions speak louder than logos. After a political ramble the lads take a moment to appreciate friendship, the great things they have, and the $25,000 Pyramid. Sorta. Magick Sam pops out to ask his lady a question, Zekiel shares an intimate moment with you, and they take a moment to mention the strain of the day, a repeat of last episode, some great White Tahoe Cookies. There’s a momentary mention of methods of cleaning out herb grinders to maximize catching that kief. There’s a shout out to the NOLA CostumeTalk Podcast, and a shout out to the Big Mikey Dread Reggae Radio Podcast out of the UK, and we then get to learn Zekiel Parchment’s podcaster origin story! We also get to hear BMD give US a shout out! Cheers!!! And a shout out (later on) to the podcast that got Magick Sam into it, the Dopecast (oddly enough also out of the UK).  Then the lads go into the contrasts of going to take a leak at a football game in the UK, and a football game at the Superdome.Then it’s time for a happy (belated) birthday to your very own Zekiel Parchment! Magick Sam gives a little gift to Zekiel that gets them into a nostalgic rabbit hole of old toys and the timeless question of toy collecting, to keep it in the box or not. Then it’s time for a little ramble into a chat about Monty Python films, documentaries they want to catch, what’s been on their respective TV’s lately for watching enjoyment, then a segway to the recent street stunt driving incidents in New Orleans, and some more politics of sorts.
