The necessity of church networks in disaster response, the challenge of rebuilding efforts—especially in rural areas—and the vital role of programs like food centers, thrift shops, and homelessness outreach. With scriptural insight from Matthew 24 and Psalm 46, the episode emphasizes the church’s role in bringing hope, healing, and preparedness in turbulent times, encouraging listeners to get trained, connected, and engaged through ministries like UIC. Daniel Geraci, Founder and CEO of United in Crisis (UIC), was also an invited guest for this program but was detained because of his ongoing efforts in the Texas Hill Country dealing with the July 4th flood.
