Episode 58 - The Old You Vs The New You: The Invisible Child
from The Old You Vs The New You Podcast · host Goddess Asha Mariama
In this episode, we talk about the invisible child when it comes to the old version of them versus the new version of them. We talk about the difference between the golden child, and the invisible child when it comes to how they’re treated from when they are children all the way up to when they are adults. We talk about how the invisible child is always the one that has to always make the sacrifices, and always has to lower themselves in order to build her or his family. They are always the dependable ones that everybody depends on. But when it comes to them, they never do for them what the other person does for them. So when it comes to the old version of the invisible child is not as easy to break as people may think. It’s hard to say no to people when you’ve been conditioned to say no no matter what. Your feelings mattering when you’ve been told your whole entire life that your feelings never mattered in the first place. I’m sure there’s a lot of people that can relate to the invisible child when it comes to the old versus the new version of yourself. When you finally get sick and tired of being the invisible child, and you finally find who you are, but most importantly actually being able to say no to the people that have been conditioning you to always say yes. So I hope this episode helps millions of people that are considered the invisible child when it comes to their families and other people that claim to care about them. And I think it’s time that we discussed this particular child when it comes to how they’re being treated and how it impacts and affects them as adults when it comes to how they allow people to treat them.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-old-you-vs-the-new-you-podcast--5273633/support.
