Episode 586: Court Orders 3D Model of King Rd. House to be Provided to Defense by May 15, 2025

In Episode 586, we address the matter that Judge Steven J. Hippler granted the State's Motion in Limine to introduce a 3D not-to-scale model of the house where the crimes occurred at trial as a "demonstrative tool" so long as the State is able to lay the proper foundation for the same. In this ruling, the Court sets out several reasons why such a model used for demonstrative purposes only is relevant. In this written order of April 18, 2025, the Court directed the State to turn over this model to Defense no later than the pretrial conference on May 15, 2025 so that it may be evaluated by its expert witness.
