Episode 6: Your Voice as an Authority

from She Envisions · host Joane Casey

In this episode, we talk about the importance of knowing our voice as an authority. We don't have to be misunderstood when we speak, God has called us to speak with His authority and to be bold and courageous about what we have to say. When we are secure in our identity in Christ then we can speak with His authority. Key Takeaways: We find our authority in Christ as we submit under God's authority. God didn't call us to be timid or to have a spirit of fear but to have a sound mind and to speak boldly and courageous. You have a message and what you say matters. As women, we carry a different type of influence and authority. The biggest obstacle that holds us back from using our voice as an authority is our own insecurity. You have to be self-aware of what is triggering your insecurity and get to the root of it and start implementing the opposite of where your insecurity comes from. Be careful of where you're drawing your security from, is your security in the opinion of others, or is it in God's truth? Out of the mouth, the heart speaks and what is in your heart is what you will speak out. What you speak over your life is what you will believe. Take a moment to take responsibility for the words that you speak and recognize how to speak against the voices of the enemy. Start with baby steps and start taking your thoughts captive and aligning them with the word of God. The enemy's voice has no value to you, so stop listening to what He is telling you and start sowing the word of God in your heart. When you're speaking the word of God you're already speaking with power and authority. The truth is what will set us free from our insecurities.  Start meditating on what the word of God says and start sowing them into your heart. Visions of GOLD is our call to action for you to start taking steps towards your vision. You are not alone, we all need community and healthy relationships. You don't have to be discontent with where you are, you can envision a greater fulfilled life that God has intended for you to live.
