Episode 61: Coach Jaryt Hunziker- Head Girls Basketball Coach Boonville High School, Boonville, MO

  Coach Hunziker a 1996 graduate from Clark County (Kahoka, MO) which is where he gained his love for basketball playing for his father Gary in Elementary school followed by great coaches in Kevin Garner and Greg Buescher in High School. During that time Jaryt knew that he wanted to get into Education and coaching following High School. He attended both Southeastern Community College in Iowa (1996-1998) and Culver Stockton College in Canton, MO (1998-2001) where he earned a BS Degree in Education.  Following college, he coached at both Clark County (boys) and Scotland County (girls/boys) in Northeast Missouri. While coaching the Scotland County girls they played for 3 District Titles winning one in 2011. He just concluded his 7th season of coaching the Boonville Lady Pirates where his team ended the 2018-19 season at 21-4. Over the last 7 seasons they have won 5 Conference Championships, 4 District Titles, made 2 Quarterfinal appearances which included a 3rd Place finish in Class 3 in 2015 (30-1). Overall record at Boonville is 149-43.  Overall I have accumulated over 250+ wins during that time.  His wife Amy and him will be celebrating their 15th Anniversary this summer.
