Episode 7 with Donovan Carrasco

Donovan started his career in a small suburb fire department in Austin Texas in 2015. He then accepted a job in Hutto, Texas, in 2018, moving through the ranks and being promoted to Lieutenant. Donovan recently accepted a job offer at Cedar Park Fire Department in 2024, starting over as a firefighter. Through his years on the job, He continued his education as a student, learning different techniques and skills. Donovan's passion is truck ops when it comes to the job. He is currently assigned to the SPEC OPS station and looks forward to continuing his education there. Donovan is a member of Affordable Drill Towers . Donovan is an instructor at the Austin Community College Fire Academy in his spare time. Donovan is the owner of Coyote Fire Training, He doesn't do this company for fame, profit, or to pretend to be something he's not. Donovan created this company in hopes of spreading passion and helping establish a truck-based foundation for other like-minded firefighters and their departments. Over the years, he's had the opportunity to learn from some great instructors, and he credits them all everywhere he goes. Donovan strives to teach firefighters in a way that is most effective for their ability to grasp the skill. Donovan's motto is "Stay tough to kill". I believe he means it and he continue to spread that important message through his trainings.
