Episode 70: Pull Up with Sabreena Merchant
from Pull Up with Myles and Owen Hosted by Myles and Owen
Sabreena Merchant of The Athletic joins Owen and Myles to discuss the tense CBA negotiations between the WNBA and its player union. With new details emerging each day, Sabreena offers her insight on the latest. Plus, college hoops have tipped off, so we discuss Sabreena's first 2026 mock draft, and show some love to a prospect not yet WNBA-eligible (though she's got the talent to hoop at any level), UConn's Sarah Strong. Pull Up with Myles and Owen is a podcast cohosted by longtime WNBA reporters Myles Ehrlich and Owen Pence. In each episode, they bring on a guest from the women's basketball universe -- a player, a media friend, or someone in an adjacent industry -- to build out the world of women's hoops through storytelling. This episode was written and produced by Myles Ehrlich, Owen Pence, and executive producer Molly Socha. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
