Meet Ashley Altman — an amazing mom of two and a professional in the mental healthcare world where she passionately believes that recovery is achievable. Both she and her husband set career goals coming out of school for jobs that you could immediately see a difference in helping someone. That challenge she meets everyday. Advice to keeping your work passion kindled is to remember why you are in your career and have friends within your field. She finds herself constantly in the mode of educating and looking at situations from different angles.Her balance of family and career sometimes spill into one another and she creates the dynamic for her kids to see that a mom can have a career that she’s passionate about and serve others while having family as a priority. Ashley bridged the two aspects of her career as a nurse practitioner and CEO of the Lee Side Wellness.
