Episode 72: PigeonPresents...PROUD! June'22

PROUD !!!June is Pride month in a lot of places. London Pride is the first weekend of July ( so it's nearly Pride here)  What am I proud of ..... I am proud of my family !!!!!!!I am proud of my family of friends!I am proud of my family at work!I work with some AMAZING kind fun special people!I am proud of my company for sponsoring Pride events, inlcuding London ........ We have a FLOAT! It's a  first !I'm proud to be part of my company for over 30 years now. I was only going to be here for a year :)I'd like to say I am proud of my playlists/podcasts (not sure) .....BUT....  I love making them!!! I am always grateful to everyone who reaches out to tell me. It is much appreciated! Thank you to everyone who downloads it and keeps listening to my silly playlists!So this one starts off very retro/old school  disco sound.As always I have come across many remakes. I found a lovely remake of Sybil's The Love I Lost. When I heard the original, loads of happy memories came flooding back from  when Danny & me used to obsess over it , So the original made it to the playlist instead of the rework. I love the start of it so it had to go first , it wouldn't have fit anywhere else. The remake of Free reminds me of many Pride events in the past & loved this disco remix.The Whitney remake reminds me of a particular night at 3 am in Soho HA!The Shapeshifters have done it again for me. I love that track.The remake of Music Sounds Better With You is so retro and abslutely brilliant!Sigala!!!!!!! Love love love!
