In Episode 769, we note that on July 9, 2025, the State of Idaho filed another discovery response under seal from public disclosure. According to the docket, the discovery request being responded to by the State was filed by the Defense on June 25, 2025 and a motion granting the exhibit describing exactly what discovery Defense was seeking - which at that time was approximately 6 weeks prior to the jury trial was granted by Judge Steven J. Hippler on June 30, 2025. The State's discovery responses were submitted a full week after the July 2, 2025 change of plea hearing and a full week after the August 18, 2025 jury trial date was vacated by Judge Hippler.
