Episode 78 - “Opting Out of Family Text Threads”

In this episode, I share about the inner struggle of being able to set a simple boundary with my parents. Why is this so hard to ask to be removed from a text thread? Because when you stop people pleasing, people stop being pleased. I have been ridiculed by my parents and siblings before when I removed myself from their family threads. I simply left the thread. It helped me so much. I needed that distance. Today, I feel chained down to receive these text from my parents boat every day...twice a day. I pray for the courage to ask to be removed and set this little brick in place for a boundary. Do this for my inner wounded child!
