He did his specialisation from the premiere medical institute, All India Medical Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research, Ahmedabad. Soon he got connected with the leading hospital of Ahmedabad, CIMS Hospital. Dr. Manan Desai is proud to be an integral part of the team which did the first first heart transplant in Gujarat. After a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Children’s National, Washington DC he is currently with Stanford University/Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital as a Clinical Instructor. He is involved in care of children with complex congenital heart diseases.
