Episode 81 – Cinemalaya 2020 Filmmakers in Focus (3 of 3)

Note: This is the final part of a 3 part episode. Despite having enormous time indoors nowadays, it's a huge accomplishment to have all filmmakers join us for one single episode. But we managed with what we can do with our time, and so we gathered some of the best and the brightest from the Main Competition section of the Cinemalaya 2020 film festival. Part 3: Fatigued, with James Mayo Part-friend of the pod and all-around good guy, James Mayo has always surprised us with the set of films he decides to make. From The Chanters to Kuya Wes, his entry in this year's Cinemalaya is a far cry from the usual melodrama, and quite honestly focuses the theory of the fatigue in our everyday lives in a stylized video-game manner. As the last part of this segment, we also ask him his favorite things to do during the lockdown.
