Episode 837: Property Tax - a Quiet Taking

Today in America, there is a quiet taking, a theft if you will. This occurs every day in every state. Property Taxes.You know something, if it hadn't been for the run away Assessments Post Covid in my home town, I wouldn't have arrived at this conclusion. But they did go hog wild on assessing property upwards of 30% year over year. Took too big a bite and now, many many people are saying hold on! Is this even Constitutional?Answer:  NO.Property tax is a taking, and it is not right that you should have to rent your land from your government. How are you any different than a sharecropper, or a surf under the heel of a Feudal Lord?Think this is hyperbole?
