Episode 84 – Melbourne AFLW ruck Lauren Pearce

Lauren has a basketball background. She played for the Darebin Falcons in the VFLW. She was drafted by Melbourne with Pick 25 in the 2016 AFLW draft and has been involved with the AFLW since the competition's first season back in 2017. Lauren is an AFLW premiership player with Melbourne and 2x All Australian. She has played 87 AFLW games and kicked 12 goals. In this interview, Lauren reflected on her time in the AFLW, what it was like to play alongside Daisy Pearce, being coached by Mick Stinear, and what it means to her, to be an inaugural Melbourne AFLW premiership player.
