Episode #87 Dan and Ashley’s Journey, Healing Their Son's Autism

Episode #87 In 1980 one out of ten thousand children were diagnosed with autism. In 2020, the CDC reported that approximately 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls. Dan and Ashley’s story of their baby boy, Grant, who got Autism at age 1 ½ years old is a story from tragedy to triumph. After three years of hell trying to raise their children with Grant’s emotional outbursts and his constant physical abuse to himself, Dan and Ashley started doing their homework and came up with their own game plan for their child's recovery since the current system told them there was nothing they could do… “just live with it”. After stacking new foods, supplements and habits together their son started making eye contact again and talking. Keep in mind he had only said two words as a 4-year-old. Their story is not only an inspiration but a road map for other parents to follow to help their children with autism and prevent other kids from getting it in the first place.
