Episode 89 Homeschooling 101

Sorry babes for the lack of intro and outtro to this show! For some reason, Anchor would not accept the entire show, so we are going with this version cuz this show is PURE 🔥 In this episode we bring on a bad ass mama who teaches us all about her and her sons journey in homeschooling! We absolutely adore Lindsey and following her along their school adventures has been amazing to watch. So with school starting up again this fall, it was a no brainer to get her on and learn more about the wonderful world of homeschooling! We chat about all the different ways you can approach it, we chat about ways outside of the school rooms parents can take charge of their child’s education, and how times have truly changed our views on “traditional” education. No one can tell you what is right for you. That is up to you and your family to decide. But we truly believe all options should be on the table. Specially if you feel traditional education delivery isn’t for you or your child. Perhaps you want to do half and half? Perhaps a Pod type learning environment is best for you and your family! There are options to be completely removed from the system or you can also apply to have financial help for things like sports and for extra curricular activities. The sky is the limit here. & if what your are doing isn’t aligning with you and your family anymore, I highly suggest looking into forms of homeschooling. Not all kids fit into a school room. Not all kids thrive in these learning environments. Don’t feel bound to what everyone else does. Figure out what will work for you and yours and fight hard to get that! You have a community there waiting for you too so you will not be alone. This isn’t uncommon anymore. Honestly, it seems like the path forward for more and more as time goes on and the lunacy of the world is exposed!
