Episode 9 - Sarah Wheatley   Sarah Wheatley runs Birth and Beyond and is a psychotherapist who specialises in issues to do with parenthood.   Sarah is a psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in social research, health promotion and psychology. Her work includes elements from psychoanalytic psychotherapy, attachment theory, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Video Interaction Guidance and Newborn Observations.   I’ve known Sarah for 10 years and she is a very close friend of mine. In this episode you’ll hear a snippet of our discussions over the last 10 years running our businesses. She shares her experiences of growing her business and her ‘saying yes to everything’ at the start including being interviewed on a high profile radio programme. She talks about how she learned to run a business and the privilege of having support at the start.
