Instead, he joined a small startup with around 10-15 employees. However, during his tenure, the company grew exponentially, reaching hundreds of employees by the time he left. This unique experience allowed Doug to grow alongside the company, giving him opportunities in leadership and expanding his perspective on engineering and team management.
