Hello, my  name is Bart Jones and I am in my tenth year of teaching physical education at Van Meter. This is my third year of teaching at the elementary level. I am very excited about this opportunity. Please look around my website to see what is happening not only in the gym, but how physical education is being expanded beyond the walls of the gymnasium. My desire is to educate my students regarding the components of physical fitness, skills development, personal/social interaction, importance of regular physical activity, and the unique components of each topic taught. The curriculum encompasses a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional activities which educate the students regarding a wide array of physical activity options.
