Episode CXXXVIII - Pedro Boys: Chapter 15

from Poe Boys

No, actually I don’t think the Roman numerals are getting ridiculous even at all and I think that it’s neat they we use over twice as many characters as necessary to less efficiently communicate the episode number. In fact I think it is just as neat as us publishing new episodes Thursdays at 9PM EST. I mean when we hit it just right it’ll be a third or even a fourth of the amount of characters. Here’s looking at you Poe Boys Episode 1,000! Anyway, I read The Art of the Mandalorian but then Disney dragged out the Ghost of Star Wars future so we had to talk about that instead before getting into the latest episode of Mando and Mayfeld’s podcast. And by the way, it’s Mandalorian. So why aren’t we calling this jabroni Manda? I mean other than the fact that Manda is one of Godzilla’s friends. Frenemies? I mean I don’t think Manda actually fights Godzilla, but I’m pretty sure Manda doesn’t fight King Ghidorah either. So friend of frenemy Manda is almost certainly a coward of the highest order. Which I guess, more than copyright infringement, is probably the true reason the little scamp we’ve all come to know and love is called Mando and not Manda, despite it being Mandalorian. Well anyway, I’ve got to be going now.

Here's a summary of what we do.In the style of classic entertainment radio show, out of work radio hosts Tom & Jack broadcast from Tom's basement. Whether it be successfully applying for the Apprentice or setting up a new gym where bigger boys aren't allowed, it's never dull (apart from all the time when it, lamentably, is). Headline Books Headline Publishing As a boy, Nathan Penlington had loved Choose Your Own Adventures, the literary phenomenon of the 1980s which thrust the reader into the role of main character and compelled them to make decisions and direct the flow of the story. So, when he discovered a job lot of the first 106 adventures for sale on eBay, there was never any question that he would place a bid. When the books arrived, he lost himself in the old adventures.Yet, as he flicked through the pages, there was another story being written - for, in the margins of each book, were the scribblings of the little boy who had once owned them, a little boy by the name of Terence John Prendergast. In the margins of the books, Terence wrote jokes, hints for adventurers following the same stories as him - and, more troubling still, intimations of a tormented childhood: of the boys and teachers who had bullied him; of the things he hated about himself and had to improve; of his thoughts of suicide and his desperate need to find friends
