ARM: «Մուսուլմանները պատերազմում են, որովհետև Իսլամում այդպես է գրված: Նրանք «հավատի համար պատերազմ» կամ «ջիհադ» են անում անհավատների դեմ». այսպես են հիմնականում ոչ մուսուլմանական երկրներում ընկալում իսլամական «ջիհադ» երևույթի էությունը: Սա է պատճառը, որ Ջիհադը շատ հաճախ նույնացվում է ահաբեկչության հետ, իսկ մուսուլման ծայրահեղական ահաբեկիչները կոչվում են «ջիհադիստներ»: Այս էպիզոդում արաբագետ Շուշան Կյուրեղյանի հետ փորձել ենք բացատրել, որ Ջիհադն Իսլամում իրականում ավելի մեծ հասկացություն է, որում ռազմական բաղադրիչը շատ ավելի փոքր մաս է:   ENG: "Muslims are fighting because it is how written in Islam. They fight against non-believers for faith or they do "Jihad" against them". This is how many in non-Muslim countries perceive the meaning of Islamic Jihad. For this reason the terms "Jihad" and "Terrorism" are often conflated, and violent Muslim radicals are called "Jihadists".
