Equalign Discusses Kinesiotape Longevity

from Equalign Podcast · host Equalign Wendy Coren DC and Dave Lundquist DC

We were inspired to do this podcast because a horse we were working with was able to maintain its taping application for 3 weeks on its lower back along the SI joint. The client stated that they did have to trim some off as it began to flap but through riding, bathing and rolling the tape stayed on. Now you might question the elasticity left in the tape the fact that it was still affecting the mechanoreceptors in the hair follicles which affects the fascia which continues to communicate with the brain. Remember the tape is about feeding the brain. Listen along to how you can create better longevity to your tapings.
