from Help and Hope Happen Here · host Mark Levine
When Erin Stern was a teenager in San Diego, she worked one summer at a camp for Pediatric Cancer patients. Later, she went to Harvard University where she received her Masters in Cancer Biology. While there, she decided to start her own summer camp which she named Camp Casco. This camp welcomes children and adolescents ages 7-17 to come for one week during the summer to enjoy all of the activities, meet new friends, and most importantly, be able to spend time having fun and not thinking about all of the protocols that they have to go through while fighting their individual cancer battles.
