Ho iniziato il mio percorso in SA il 25 maggio 2021 quando ho avuto ancora una volta un confronto con mio marito, ma questa volta la differenza è stata che la mia voce interiore (la voce di un Potere Superiore) mi ha indirizzato con forza verso un DIO: ho cercato su Google, ho trovato sa.org e mi sono messa in contatto con una sorella di SA India che mi ha fatto conoscere il programma di SA. Durante la nostra prima lunga telefonata, mi ha spiegato le basi del recupero e anche in cosa consiste la definizione di sobrietà. Mi ha detto che non potevo abbandonare il matrimonio perché sono sposata, non potevo fare nulla di inappropriato con me stessa e dovevo anche provare a mantenere l'astinenza totale nel mio matrimonio per alcuni mesi: io e mio marito ci siamo riusciti per oltre un anno.
