La società italo-francese e il marchio britannico hanno rinnovato l’accordo di licenza per l’eyewear fino al 31 dicembre 2035Grazie a questo rinnovo la partnership con EssilorLuxottica, la cui scadenza era prevista alla fine del 2025, sfiorerà i 30 anni di operatività: l’avvio della licenza per lo sviluppo, la produzione e la distribuzione a livello globale di occhiali a marchio Burberry (nella foto, un recente modello) risale, infatti, al 2006, con l’allora Luxottica. Un percorso creativo che ha dato vita a collezioni dall’eleganza senza tempo, espressione del fascino autenticamente britannico del brand, come ricorda in una nota congiunta Francesco Milleri, presidente e amministratore delegato di EssilorLuxottica. «Questo capitolo segna l’inizio di una fase nuova per gli occhiali Burberry creati dal nostro gruppo, proseguendo e rafforzando la collaborazione con una delle maison del lusso più ammirate al mondo», aggiunge Milleri.Entusiasmo nel proseguire il rapporto con EssilorLuxottica lo esprime anche Joshua Schulman, amministratore delegato di Burberry: una collaborazione «costruita sulla vocazione condivisa all’artigianalità, alla creatività e all’innovazione - sottolinea Schulman nel comunicato - Insieme interpretiamo lo spirito senza tempo del lusso d'ispirazione britannica di Burberry, offrendo ai clienti di tutto il mondo collezioni eyewear sempre più iconiche».A cura della redazione
