Younger french people use this in other contexts sometimes now eg. “le coup de foudre amical” is a thing.une liaison = relation amoureuse = an affair. You have this word ‘liaison’ too in English no? These are always the easiest words to remember because there is already a connection somewhere in your brain!être fou d'amour = be madly in love / lovesick “Tu vois, obsédé, pathétique et fou d'amour” (You know, obsessed, pathetic and lovesick.)tout comme✨ = de la même façon que = just like. “Il est grand, tout comme ses parents.” (He’s tall just like his parents.)“C’est tout comme”✨ = c'est presque pareil = he/she might as well have / it’s close enough.
