Clouds rolled in over Esterel Caravaning on Thursday evening, bringing a little drizzle and just enough rain to make everyone wonder if Happy Hour would end early. Between mixes, the mixer hid under its Decksaver and the laptop disappeared beneath a towel, but the music kept playing. A huge French family abandoned the cooler bar downstairs and joined the rooftop, where toddlers danced, handed out high fives, and offered drinks to the DJ. The Dutch crew returned once again as the skies slowly cleared and the cooler air settled over the Mediterranean pines. From soulful grooves and disco classics to deeper late-evening moments, this set carried the rooftop through an unusual summer evening and delivered a warm send-off to the Mamma Mia welcome show waiting downstairs.
