Esterel Happy Hour 2026-08-24

With thunderstorms threatening the evening, Monday's Happy Hour moved indoors to the bar. Rather than playing it safe, I took the opportunity to change the mood completely — a contemporary journey through Organic House, Melodic, Progressive and Afro House. Starting deep and atmospheric with Amonita, Makebo, Marsh and Sébastien Léger, the set gradually built through hypnotic grooves, melodic textures and Afro-infused rhythms. As the room warmed up, the energy followed, with RÜFÜS DU SOL, Joris Voorn, WhoMadeWho and Ben Böhmer helping take things deeper into the evening. The response was fantastic: high fives, fist bumps, and kids dancing right in front of the booth. With the outdoor Bingo cancelled by the storm, there was no reason to stop at the usual Happy Hour finish — so the music kept going. Sometimes a change of weather is exactly what you need to change the soundtrack.
