Esterel Happy Hour 2026-08-28

The rain had moved in, and with the season winding down, the rooftop gave way to the bar for another indoor edition of Esterel Happy Hour. The crowd was smaller this time, and the atmosphere was decidedly relaxed — cocktails, cold beers, and a few people settling in for the evening. So rather than forcing the room into party mode, I leaned into the weather and the mood with a deep, melodic journey through Organic House, Progressive House, Afro House and Melodic House. Starting somewhere between sunset and twilight, the set gradually moved from warm organic grooves into deeper, more cinematic territory before slowly building toward the progressive end of the spectrum. Tracks from All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Deepalma and Cercle helped give the evening that spacious, slightly dreamlike feeling that seemed to fit the rainy night perfectly. It wasn't the biggest crowd of the summer, but sometimes that's exactly when you can let the music do what it wants.
