La misión de la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) homenajea así al sabio griego que transformó nuestra manera de entender el mundo con su obra "Los Elementos", un compendio de la geometría de su época cuya influencia ha perdurado a través de los siglos. Desde su lanzamiento, EUCLID ha surcado el espacio exterior hasta alcanzar una órbita alrededor del punto donde las fuerzas del Sol y la Tierra se equilibran. Ahora la sonda EUCLID está poniendo a punto sus instrumentos con un objetivo: mejorar la comprensión la energía y la materia oscuras del Universo.
