Evening — April 22 — Psalm 86:13

For great is Your loving devotion to me; You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol. — Psalm 86:13David celebrates that God's mercy is great toward him — so great that his soul was delivered from the lowest hell. I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake. No man can redeem his brother or give to God a ransom for him — the redemption of their soul is costly. But God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive together with Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
